Mountain rescuers in the Lake District are calling for walkers taking part in the three peaks challenge to be better prepared.
There have been numerous call outs over the last few weeks on Scafell Pike to help lost hikers.
The rescue teams are also asking that all rubbish is removed from the mountains so they can be enjoyed by everyone.
Richard Warren from Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team says that action needs to be taken to avoid unnecessary rescues:
