Around 1:30pm hours on Saturday 13 July 2013 a serious crash occurred on the A76 Dumfries to Kilmarnock road at the southern entrance to Drumlanrig Castle involving a car and a motorbike.
The 41 year old rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital by air ambulance suffering from serious injuries. The 80 year old driver of the Citroen was not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision to contact officers at Thornhill Police Station on 101
