There's exactly one year to go until the opening ceremony for the 2014 Commonwealth Games takes place in Glasgow.
The event will see thousands of athletes competing in 17 sports.
Judo Champion Abbi Blackie from Newtown St Boswells in the Scottish Borders is hoping she will be selected to be one of them.
The 16-year-old is ranked number one in the UK for her age group.
"Competing in the Commonwealth Games would mean so much to me.
"Obviously it is in my home country and you would have the advantage of having the home crowd behind you and it would just be an amazing atmosphere. Such an inspiration to me."
