The main A66 route near Penrith in Cumbria has been closed after what Police say is a crane fire. The blaze is ongoing near to the Kemplay roundabout in Penrith. Motorists trying to use the A66 will have to use alternative routes.
Officers are also asking drivers stuck in traffic not to try and turn around to try and prevent confusion and accidents.
