A man has died in a car crash in the Scottish Borders that also left three others injured.
The collision happened yesterday on the A697 Greenlaw to Carfraemill Road around 3.30pm and involved four cars. It happened within the hamlet of Houndslow in Berwickshire.
The 59-year-old man who died was driving a Kia Sorento northbound when he collided with a Vauxhall Combo van travelling southbound.
The Kia Sorento then crashed into a Vauxhall Vectra, also travelling southbound.
The road was closed for seven and a half hours as a result of the crash.
