Thousands of pupils in southern Scotland have received their exam results - by post, email and text.
It has been a day of celebration for most of Scotland's 150,000 students as overall pass rates increased for Highers, Advanced Highers and Standard Grades.
Youth Employment Minister Angela Constance told ITV News she was delighted that so many have come out with strong results.
