Weather: Friday

A very warm day. Dry start. Unsettled from the west later. (Photo: ALAN HARRISON)

A fine start with some sunshine.

Cloud will increase from the west during the day, bringing some rain eastwards.

The air is very warm but humid. Highs to 22C with light winds. With mild and damp conditions mist and hill fog will develop.

It turns much more unsettled later this evening as a more organised and developed area of rain pushes in from the west, into the warm air.

Warnings are in place for showery rain to turn heavy and thundery during the night. Torrential downpours are possible.
