Full Report: CockRock cancelled for 2014

A third high profile festival in West Cumbria has been cancelled for 2014 and organisers of Cockermouth-based Cock Rock say the nine year old event may never return.

The festival committee announced their decision to halt the event on a social networking site, citing 'unwelcome restrictions' as the reason.

It comes after announcements last week that the Whitehaven Festival and Solfest won't be staged next year.
