90-year-old Bettina Dawson is being honoured with a British Empire Medal for services to the catering industry in Dumfries and Galloway.
She has been working at the Moffat Chippy since 1936 and still works six days a week.
The grandmother couldn't believe it when her family told her the news and says she keeps getting confused about what she has won, but is delighted:
