The owner of a three-legged dog says her pooch's story helps children to remember to stop, look and listen at the roadside.
Jon lost a leg after being hit by a car as a puppy.
"I fostered Jon following his accident nine years ago and within weeks I decided to keep him. He is great with children, and I think his story helps them to remember the road safety message.
"They always say how lovely he is, then they notice his missing leg and then they listen to the story and remember Jon's message."
