A women's football coach from the Borders has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Spain.

Twenty five year old Morgan Lynn, who grew up in Hawick and played for Borders Ladies, was on holiday with two friends when she fell from her fifth hotel room in Benidorm.
Local police and the Foreign Office said the accident happened at 3 a.m. after the Royal Bank of Scotland worker had been out with friends before returning to the Hotel Gala Placidia. Ms Lynn had been living in Edinburgh and was a coach with Hibs Ladies.
A Foreign office spokesman said:
"We are providing consular assistance to the family at this sad time."
