Fears for ex-offenders club facing closure

A club for ex-offenders in carlisle is at risk of closure because of a lack of funds. The Cumbria gateway opens for breakfast every Tuesday but needs £5000 a year to operate.

Cumbria Gateway: 'For aftercare - there's only us in Carlisle'

The founder of Cumbria Gateway has told ITV Border that they are the only service in Carlisle offering aftercare to ex-offenders.

The service runs a breakfast club which helps addicts and recovering addicts but it's at risk of closing because of a cash shortage.
