A new Police base is opening in Sedbergh, South Cumbria.
The base, at 72 Main Street, will be opened today by Cumbria's Police and Crime Commissioner, Richard Rhodes.
Local people campaigned to keep the building in the community after it was originally being sold by the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the open market.
The new base will be used for advice, assistance and resources.
