Driver still in critical condition after A66 crash

Police are continuing to investigate a crash which left six people needing hospital treatment. The two car crash happened on the A66 between Penrith and Keswick on Saturday 19, April. One man remains in a critical condition.

Horror crash: diversions in place

Cumbria Police say the A66 will remain closed at Threlkeld "for the foreseeable future".

Diversions are in place.

People travelling from Keswick are asked to travel along St Johns in the Vale.

Those travelling from Penrith, will be turned round at Rheged and are advised to use the M6 routes.
