Artefacts worth more than £34,000 stolen from museum

More than £34,000 worth of artefacts have been stolen from the Dumfries Museum.

Police Scotland say the museum was broken into on Wednesday 30 April, at about 10:05pm. Historic Curling Club and Olympic medals were taken, along with a silver casket.

Officers want to speak to three people who were seen in the area at the time.

Museum workers say they are devastated.
