An historic hotel in the Lake District has been badly damaged after a major fire swept through the property last night.
Fire crews were called to the Queen's Head Hotel in Troutbeck, near Windermere, which was engulfed with flames.
The blaze has destroyed the roof in some places, and the back of the building is badly damaged.
Firefighters are still at the scene as investigations get underway.
