Dad, John Brooks, says he's 'absolutely' proud of his daughter who is also his full time carer.
He explains that with the support they've received, his daughter Shani has been able to be a young carer whilst also doing well at school.
Shani has completed her first year of A-level exams. After college she hopes to study medicine at university.
