A giant bow has been hung around Carlisle Cathedral to celebrate organ donation.

It marks the start of national transplant week.

The ribbon measures 200 metres long and is 2.5 metres high and took four hours to install by a team of seven people.

Organisers are hoping the event will encourage people to come forward and join the register.
