Nearly 15,000 people are expected to attend the Dumfries and Lockerbie Agricultural Show, which takes place today and tomorrow.
Horses and riders have already been in action at the Park Farm Showground, with hundreds of livestock competitions, trade stands and displays scheduled for tomorrow.
The show is the last one for secretary Esther Bicket, who's retiring after 23 years in charge. She's now handing over the reins to her daughter.
