A famous carriage driver is recovering in hospital after getting injured at the Lowther show ground in Cumbria.
George Bowman, 78, was riding a horse drawn carriage when the animal bolted. Bowman fell off the carriage and sustain head and chest injuries. He was airlifted to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
