Cumbrian man arrested after pensioner fraud

A 22-year-old man from Millom has been arrested, as part of an investigation into fraudulent transactions from a pensioner's account.

A passbook was stolen in September 2014, and transactions of more than £1,800 made from the pensioner's account.

The 22-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of theft, fraud and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

He has been bailed until the 15th March 2015.
