Thousands to take part in Tour o' the Borders

More than 2000 riders are expected to take part in a closed road cycle event in the Scottish Borders tomorrow (Sunday 9th August).

Tour o' the Borders has grown from having just 300 participants in its opening year in 2012.

Cyclists can chose between a 120km or an 88km route. Both start and finish in Peebles and take riders through the Ettrick and Yarrow valleys.

The estimated economic impact of Tweedlove bike festival and Tour o’ the Borders is £1.7 million.
