Copeland MP Jamie Reed has written to Chancellor George Osborne ahead of tomorrow's Budget, to call for urgent road investment in Cumbria.

Mr Reed says the A595 "requires significant improvements" to cope with additional traffic from the planned new nuclear power station at Moorside.

The road is the longest in Cumbria, and at certain times the busiest.
