Have your say on local policing in Alston

Cumbria’s Police & Crime Commissioner, Peter McCall, will be hosting a public surgery in Alston for people to share their views on local policing.

I am really keen to speak to as many people as possible across the county, as I have found it a really valuable experience in the past, and helps give me a real feel for what people are feeling and experiencing out in our communities. Holding surgeries such as these is just one of the ways that I plan to interact with members of the public, and I urge people to take the opportunity to come along for a chat. I really want to get out in the community to see for myself the issues and how policing can help.

The session will be taking place at the Police Desk in the Library at Alston, between 10am and 12pm, on Wednesday 28 June.

People interested in attending do not need to make an appointment.
