Residents meet with Carlisle MP over road plans

Residents of Warwick Road in Carlisle are protesting against plans to widen the route into the city. Cumbria County Council are considering adding an extra lane, but people living in the area believe it will make accessing their homes more dangerous. They also say cutting down up to eighteen trees to accommodate the changes will spoil the entrance into the city. They have met with local MP John Stevenson to voice their concerns
