Sammi Kinghorn: fifth place in first ever marathon

Sammi Kinghorn has finished fifth place in her first ever marathon in Chicago.

Kinghorn's time was well inside the qualification time needed for the Commonwealth Games - just over four-and-a-half minutes behind Tatyana McFadden, who won in 1:39:14.

The 21-year-old para athlete aims to complete over 26.2 miles at the Commonwealth Games in Australia next April.
