More ice predicted for the Border region

Once again, ice will create hazardous conditions across the region between now and 11am on Friday morning.

Heavy showers of rain, hail, sleet and snow are expected with some clearer periods, making temperatures dip sharply.

Ice and snow will fall on higher ground today but will possibly affect areas at lower levels, particularly in Dumfries & Galloway and the Borders.

Ice will also form on untreated roads and surfaces, causing disruption to travel.
