Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn visited the Borders today ahead of the Scottish Borders Council by-election in Selkirk.

The Islington North MP was in the town to campaign alongside Scottish Labour leader Richard Leonard and the party's by-election candidate Scott Redpath.

They visited the Eildon Housing Association this morning.

Also standing in the by-election are Trevor Adams (Conservatives), Jack Clark (Liberal Democrats), Barbra Harvie (Green Party), John Mitchell (Scottish National Party), and Kenneth Gunn and Caroline Penman (independents).
