Man appears in court following supermarket raid

A 25-year-old man has made a brief appearance in court following a raid at a supermarket at Gretna last week.

Jordan Still, from Annan, was on a petition in private before Sheriff David Hall at Dumfries.

He appeared on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, theft by opening a lock fast place, theft by housebreaking and a further charge of theft from a lock fast place.

No plea or declaration was made and he was remanded in custody for further examination and will appear again at a future date.
