Leeds murder probe

Police have begun a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body at a property in Leeds
Shortly after a 1pm on Friday, officers were called to a flat at Ashton Court, Harehills, where they found the body of a woman aged in her fifties. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 61-year-old local man was arrested from the property on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
West Yorkshire Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
Police have not yet named the woman or given any more details about their investigation. The whole of Ashton Court remained sealed off, as detectives continued their inquiries.
