Party in the Park will kick off at 1pm and takes place on the final day of Concerts in the Park, a three day music festival in Greenhead Park from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 June.
Meamwhile the date and ticket process for this year’s Party in the Park concert at Temple Newsam in Leeds have also been announced today.

– Leeds Councillor Adam Ogilvie, Leeds City Council:
Party in the Park is a phenomenally popular event for Leeds so we are repeating the ballot system for tickets from last year as we feel it is the fairest and best way for everyone in the city wishing to attend to have an equal chance. The concert itself is a brilliant day out at Temple Newsam Park so we look forward to another amazing line-up this year and would advise anyone wanting to be there to make sure they register or they will miss out.”
The Huddersfield concerts begin on the evening of Friday, June 8th with a special performance of Thank you for the Music, a live concert show featuring the music of ABBA and the Bee Gees. Performed by professional touring company Easy Theatres.
On Saturday evening the stage will be set for a jubilee proms concert, featuring the Orchestra of Opera North and guest solo artists. All Concerts in the Park events are free and un-ticketed.
