Beach awards

Eleven beaches across our region have been awarded Blue Flag Awards.

These are internationally recognised, guaranteeing a certain standard of cleanliness and a range of facilities.

Beaches in East Yorkshire, Scarborough and Lincolnshire have also been given Quality Coast Awards.

Across the country nine more beaches have received Blue Flags than last year.
