The rain held off in Scarborough as thousands of screaming Olly Murs fans turned out at the seaside to watch him perform in concert – the only gig on his latest tour to completely sell out, with the 6,500 seats filled.
Olly, 28, from Witham in Essex spoke about his career since winning the X Factor in 2009. On stage he talked about his dream of “performing, especially to lovely people like you in Scarborough."

The singer was supported by fellow X Factor contestant Diana Vickers, who sang songs from her new album, including a cover of the hit single ‘Call Me Maybe.’
Olly Murs released his debut single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ in August 2010, which went to number one in the UK Singles Charts.
In November 2010, he released his self-titled debut album, which entered the UK Albums Chart at number two. Over 600,000 thousand copies have been sold.
In November 2011 Murs released his second album ‘In Case You Didn’t Know.’
