A Sheffield art gallery which lost its funding has been cheered up by a surprise donation from Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. The singer offered to lend Graves Gallery in Sheffield a painting which he had just been given by controversial artist Damien Hirst. The painting is called Beautiful Morana Dysgeusia Painting for Jarvis (with Diamonds). It measures almost two metres in diameter and is covered in synthetic diamonds.
