Mixed picture for region's house prices

House prices in the Yorkshire and Humber region have fallen by 2.5%, according to the latest Land Registry figures.

But the cost of a home in the East Midlands region, which includes Lincolnshire, rose by 0.4%.

Year on year house price figures:

  • London: +6.5%
  • East: +0.8%
  • South East: +0.7%
  • East Midlands: +0.4%
  • West Midlands: -0.8%
  • Wales: - 1.3%
  • South West: -1.9%
  • Yorkshire and the Humber: -2.5%
  • North East: -3.8%
  • North West: -3.9%
