Red Arrows pilot's wife runs in his memory
The wife of a Red Arrows pilot killed when his jet crashed has taken part in the Great North Run to raise money in her husband's honour. Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging, who was based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, died when his aircraft crashed into a field following an air show in Bournemouth. The display team performed a fly past as Dr Emma Egging ran for the Jon Egging Trust.
Last month Emma Egging attended a special memorial ceremony for her husband.
