The West Yorkshire Police Dog Section are giving the public the chance to name one of their newest recruits through Twitter.
The Force has recently welcomed three boy 'Sprocker' Spaniel pups into their ranks and need the public's help to give one of the pups a name.
The eight week old pups, who are a cross of Springer and Cocker Spaniels are finding their feet at the Force's Operations Support Services at Carrgate, where the Dog Section is based.
Over the coming months they will be housed with carer families where they will start to receive some training that will hopefully show some of the signs of a police dog in the making.
The police are asking the public to Tweet the Force with their favourite 'Yorkshire' name for one of the puppies from a list of Billy, Tyke, Cas, Ponte and Filey.
You can vote for your favourite name via the West Yorkshire Police Dog Section Twitter page.
