Dog dumped in Ilkeston

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was found dumped and tied to a stile in Ilkeston, Derby.

The dog, who is believed to be a cross-breed is thought to be around 18 months old.

He was found tied to a stile near to Meadow Street, Ilkeston on the morning of September 21.

Kevin, as he has since been named, was found by a concerned caller, who contacted the RSPCA and an inspector was sent to collect him.

Kevin is a fabulous little dog, and it is hard to understand why someone would just abandon him.

He was taken to the RSPCA Derby and District Branch where he was cared for, and I understand he has now been found a new home.

However I am still keen to hear from anyone who may know who owns this dog and I would urge them to contact me on the RSPCA inspector appeal line on 0300 123 8018
