Police investigating the murder of a man near a theatre in Leeds have arrested three 18-year-old men on suspicion of murder.
Robert Adamczyk, 28, from South Milford near Selby, was pronounced dead at Leeds General Infirmary on Sunday morning after being seriously injured in an attack near to The Grand theatre on the junction of Harrison Street and New Briggate shortly before 2am.
Police were called to the scene by paramedics following reports that a man had been assaulted by one of a group of three men and had fallen to the ground suffering serious head injuries.
Tests revealed he died from a head injury.

A young man who was simply enjoying a night out has tragically lost his life and his family and friends are understandably distraught and are struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
Robert had been out in Leeds celebrating a friend’s stag night. He and one friend had left the group and gone to North Bar, in New Briggate. The incident occurred after he and his friend left the bar.
The three men involved in the incident went off towards The Headrow afterwards.
