A 56 year old plant worker has been killed after apparently becoming trapped in machinery at a factory in South Yorkshire.
Police, the fire brigade and the ambulance service were called out to the Macalloy plant on Caxton way in Dinnington at 3:12pm yesterday.

Police were called to industrial premises on Caxton Way, Dinnington, where a 56-year-old man from Rawmarsh had been fatally injured after he became trapped in machinery.
The Health and Safety Executive have been told about the accident and are carrying out a joint investigation with the police into what happened.
Macalloy make threaded bars and cables for use in wind turbines and high rise buildings.
No one from the firm has been available for comment.
