Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man in Worksop town centre on Saturday night.
It's after reports of an assault at around 7.30pm in Bridge Street, near the junction with Ryton Street.
The victim was taken to Bassetlaw District Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A murder inquiry is now underway. The victim has not yet been formally identified and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to work out how the man died.
Four boys, three aged 15 and one aged 16 are being questioned by detectives.
A cordon is in place at the scene while forensic tests are carried out, and a section of the pedestrianised area of Bridge Street, as well as the Burton, Timpson and Specsavers shops, closed today.
