Yesterday, temperatures peaked at 22.6c in Hull.
Values today climbed to 20.1c by midday in Holbeach and Coningsby, and steadily rose to 21.7c in the same areas by 1pm.
There is the potential for the mercury to climb by another degree or two during the next hour or so, so it looks like we may be on course to match or pip Friday's top temperature.
Plenty of sun around the region for the remainder of Saturday, always the best of the sunshine through the SE of the region, through Lincolnshire. Gentle breeze and more sun to come tomorrow.
