Family makes 'Little Britain' video to sell their home

A family from Derbyshire have made their own 'Little Britain' style video in a bid to sell their house. The home in Staveley near Chesterfield has been on the market since August, but has only attracted a few viewers, so the Lett family decided to drum up some interest with the tongue-in-cheek video. Owner James Lett posted it online on his Facebook page and it's already attracted hundreds of views.

I've been living in Staveley for 8 years and love it. We originally moved into the area because of a job in Sheffield, but sadly we need to move due to a new job in Manchester.

We knew that Staveley had a bit of an image problem years ago, but what with a new multi-million pound leisure centre, renovated canal system, great pubs, shops, schools, local amenities, connections to the M1 & rail links and surrounded by stunning countryside (including the Peak District) the town really is on the up. However we get the sense that local people still associate the name Staveley with its old image.

The aim of this short warm-hearted and tongue-in-cheek video is to help show local people that the town needs another look.
