Third new station in West Yorkshire

A new railway station opens in West Yorkshire this morning.

The £10 million Low Moor Rail Station, on the Calder Valley line, is the third to open in the county since 2015 and will provide improved access to train services for passengers in Bradford, Leeds, Halifax and beyond.

Fully-accessible platforms

Station facilities include fully-accessible platforms with footbridge and passenger lifts, modern waiting shelters with seating, lighting and cctv customer information screens and public address system.

There are also 128 car parking spaces with dedicated disabled persons parking bays, drop off point and cycle parking as well as direct access to and from the adjacent Spen Valley Greenway for pedestrians and cyclists.
