Stuart McCall has blasted Millwall fans after a pitch invasion at the end of their play-off final defeat at Wembley.

Former Leeds United striker Steve Morison scored the winner late on to send the Lions to the Championship.

Hundreds of Millwall supporters then ran on the pitch towards Bradford players at the final whistle and McCall admitted he was close to punching some of them.

McCall said: "I've got to be honest I was close to clocking a couple but they were a bit quick for me.

It was unnecessary but I'm no blaming the people that did it but where was the stewarding? Why march them out 10 minutes after it. They (the stewards) should've got to the halfway line and put a stop to it. We're hurting as it is so the last thing we need is people running around us doing selfies and trying to be smart and giving us verbals. It's a lesson to be learned put it that way.
