The widow of a professional rugby player who died from an undiagnosed heart condition is set to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge.
Lizzie Jones, whose husband Danny collapsed and died during a Keighley Cougars match in May 2015, is aiming to raise £10,000 for the Danny Jones Defib Fund.
The fund pays for defibrillators for community and junior rugby clubs in a bid to save the lives of people with similar undiagnosed heart problems.
Lizzie will be joined by fellow fundraisers, celebrities and rugby league stars such as former Leeds Rhinos players Barrie McDermott and Kevin Sinfield during the event on June 10 to 12.
The challenge will see walkers begin the trek at Ben Nevis in Scotland, before taking on Scarfell Pike and then Mount Snowden.
