Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has announced that the club's new manager 'will be announced very soon.'
Leeds have been on the lookout for a new boss after Garry Monk left the club last month and earlier this week took up the manager's position at Championship rivals Middlesborough.
At the time Radrizzani expressed a desire to keep Monk by negotiating a longer deal at Elland Road.
But with preseason fast approaching, Monk's successor now looks set to be announced imminently
Speaking on Twitter, Radrizzani said: "White smoke from ER! Big day for @LUFC fans. Thank you for the patience and support, our Manager will be announced very soon."
Former Watford boss Quique Sánchez Flores, who is currently in charge of La Liga outfit Espanyol, is the bookies favourite to take over at Elland Road.
At the time of this article being published the odds, according to Sky Bet, for the next Leeds manager are:
- Juande Ramos 7/4
- Quique Sánchez Flores 9/4
Fernando Hierro 7/1
Víctor Sanchez 9/1
Pep Clotet 9/1
Aitor Karanka 11/1
Nigel Pearson 14/1
Jaap Stam 14/1
Paulo Sousa 16/1
