Thousands of Scouts at a week-long summer camp in Lincolnshire have had a surprise visit from Bear Grylls.
The adventurer in his role as the UK's Chief Scout was helicoptered into the event this morning as part of a nationwide tour where he tries to meet as many young people in one day as possible.
5000 young people from across the UK and some from as far away as Russia and New Zealand are at Poacher 2017 on the Lincolnshire Showground where they will have the chance to complete as many adventurous activities as they can.
There were times during Bear Grylls' visit to Lincolnshire when he was mobbed by so many Scouts you could only see where he was by the sizeable crowd around him.
