Train passengers face disruption today as Northern Rail workers stage their latest walk out in a row over driver-only operated trains.
It's the second one-day walk out in four days as part of a long running dispute over controversial plans to introduce driver only trains.
Employees are striking in response to Northern’s plan to modernise the region’s rail services and the changes Northern proposes to make to the role of conductors in the future.
Members of the RMT Union also staged a walk-out on Friday 1st September.
Passengers are being advised to check with their train operators who're laying on replacement services.
