Bingo players were left terrified after a gang brandishing weapons raided a venue in Leeds.
Four people armed with weapons including a knife walked into Mecca Bingo in Hunslet at around 8.30pm last night.
They threatened staff before escaping with cash in a small, dark coloured car.
Detective Inspector Simon Jessup, of Leeds District CID, said: “Extensive enquiries are underway following what was understandably a terrifying experience for the staff and customers.
“Officers have spoken to a number of people who were present at the time of the incident. However, we would ask anyone who has not yet come forward, who has any information, to speak to the police. Enquiries are continuing.”
Anyone with information should call Leeds District CID via 101.
